The IAF will be holding the workshop “Beyond Achondroplasia” on April 29th at 17:30 (CET). The event will be moderated by Dr. Svein Fredwall, from Sunnaas Rehabilitation Hospital (Norway). Interestingly, this workshop has the same name as our website.

This workshop will feature renowned experts and will address issues related to achondroplasia and related conditions (hypochondroplasia, Noonan syndrome, Turner syndrome, SHOX haploinsufficiency and osteogenesis imperfecta):

  • an overview of follow-up
  • potential treatment targets
  • challenges associated with these conditions
  • ongoing clinical trials for these conditions

 

The IAF (International Achondroplasia Forum) is a network of experts in achondroplasia. Its aim is to promote collaboration between specialists, share best practices between countries, create recommendations and support the development of educational programs.
