Survey about achondroplasia
We have designed a questionnaire with the purpose to better know the population connected to achondroplasia.
The questionnaire is optional and anonymous. The data obtained will be used for statistical purposes and to better understand the natural history of achondroplasia. Please consider answering.
If you would like to take the survey later, you can click on the link at the top "Register at BA"

If you are a parent of a child with achondroplasia between 2 and 11 years old and you live in Ireland, Bulgaria, Germany, Norway, Switzerland, Austria, and USA (for Spanish speakers), join this project.
At the UK, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, and Portugal the project has now full engagement.

This is a multinational project for a linguistic validation of one questionnaire in achondroplasia, in order to assess the clarity and comprehension of the questions. Parents of 12 countries will be evaluators of the linguistic aspects of the questionnaire, that has been translated into 8 languages. The validation will focus on capturing the
appropriate cross-cultural use and interpretation of questions that are related to patient-reported and clinical assessments, and not to reply to the questionnaire.

Parents' collaboration will include a 1-hour phone call with a local country moderator in their native language. The interviews will be scheduled and conducted in July and August 2019.

The countries and languages are the following:

Country Language
Australia English
UK English
New Zealand English
Ireland English
Bulgaria Bulgarian
Germany German
Mexico Spanish
Norway Norwegian
Portugal Portuguese
Switzerland French
USA Spanish
Switzerland German
Austria German
