9th International Conference on Children's Bone Health - Salzburg, Austria
The 9th International Conference on Children's Bone Health (ICCBH) will take place in Salzburg, Austria from th 22nd-25th June 2019. It will cover a diversity of topics surrounding bone health in children ranging from physical activity to bone development and rare bone diseases.
it aims to bring together scientists and clinicians from all over the world to discuss the growing skeleton in health and disease, allowing the participants to update on the current approach to pediatric bone science.

Beyond Achondroplasia's founder and writer, Inês Alves, is contributing to the rare bone disease section with a pre-meeting workshop to discuss the optimal way to monitor for foramen magnum stenosis and explore the pathophysiology of this condition. This workshop is directed at clinicians who manage groups of children with achondroplasia and more specifically, who work with foramen magnum stenosis.
